BARREL:
The oak wood for this barrel comes from the 2,200-hectare Bürgerwald in Annweiler. This oak wood was already growing in this forest in Napoleon's time and was highly contested.
Aromas:walnut, dried fruit, tannin
DISTILLATE:
100% unmalted Spreewald rye, mashed with Belgian seasonal beer yeast.
Flavors:fruity-dry, cherry, pear, with spicy pepperiness
- Incl. 3 years storage in barrel storage
